Howie Sim leads the Client Service Unit for Transport in NCS. He focuses on helping transport organisations digitally transform their services in moving people and goods, to become more people and customer-centric to support future demands in smart cities.
Howie has over 30 years of experience in management consulting, IT consulting and business process outsourcing. His key roles in the past include client account management, overseeing the business relationship for sales, revenue, and the P&L of the client accounts under his supervision.
He has successfully led large-scale transformation projects, implementing systems for enterprises and ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery. His expertise in solution architecture extends to procurement, finance, and accounting for business process outsourcing, and he has played a pivotal role in closing Business Process Outsourcing deals.
Howie serves as an industry practice lead for transport contributing to the growth of business and capability-building in APAC, ASEAN & Singapore regions. He regularly contributes his thought leadership to industry communities such as the Intelligent Transportation Society Singapore and Singapore Institute of Technology to promote innovation and collaboration.
He is passionate about helping clients to digitally transform their business enterprises to the next level of business growth.
