ARQ Group
Arq Group, known as ARQ, was acquired by NCS in 2022 as part of a series of major investments to accelerate its digital regionalisation, positioning NCS as a regional IT and digital powerhouse in Australia and Singapore.
The Australian business was originally established out of Melbourne University in 1996 and called Melbourne IT. It floated on the ASX in 1999, rebranding to Arq Group in 2018.
ARQ brings a proud legacy as one of the largest and fastest-growing digital services providers in Australia. The ARQ team built excellent relationships with customers – with about half of the top 20 companies on the ASX across financial services, utilities, retail, healthcare, travel and government among ARQ’s clientele.
ARQ supported many well known Australian brands, businesses and government departments. Its client list has included ANZ Bank, AustralianSuper, Domino’s, Qantas, Transurban, nib, NAB, The Coffee Club, NSW Rural Fire Services, the Queensland Government’s Department of Education, and the Victoria State Government’s Department of Transport.
ARQ built a strong partnership ecosystem across major cloud hyperscalers in Australia and its expertise in delivering tailored tech innovation at scale through its team has now boosted NCS’ capabilities in digital, cloud, data and platforms.
As part of our business integration in Australia, Arq Group Enterprise Pty Ltd (ACN 626 006 111) is being renamed NCS AU Pty Ltd as our local operating entity for all customer, partner and supplier contracts, and is now known under our NCS Australia branding.
